If they had done the burst like an actual silverburst Les Paul i'd like it a hell of a lot more. It looks so much better than what they've done there.
The Gibson looks more champagne/gold coloured than silver. Do not like.
I'm addicted to silver-sparkle guitars

Brandon Anix, is that you?!?!
But, seriously, I don't mind LP's, especially black ones, minus the gold hardware. I'd definitely go with a Tokai, if I could hunt one down.

I like LP juniors and other similar guitars. Don't think I could get on with a ful LP.

This.
I've always loved LP juniors, before I even knew what a humbucker was I knew I wanted an LP junior one day.
I'd like to do one as a project, but I can't see it happening for a while.

there's something about a jr, to me it's less distractions, just playing. it's amazing how many sounds you can get out of one pickup, your hands and a volume and tone.
that silverburst is same guitar adam jones uses in tool, he's obsessed with them.

I played a friends 1 pickup P90 Epiphone SG for a while (SG Jr?). Was cool tonez though annoyed me that I couldn't flick to the neck pickup for solos.

i used to try and get round that by turning my tone pot down to get a kinda neck pickup tone. my epiphone was an sg jr, cherry red. would kill for another one.

I like the Gibson silverburst, not so much the Epi.
Big fan of Tool, I always liked Jones' guitars.

jones is very underrated, he uses the least amount of gear to create so many different textures.

Yeah I like him a lot.
Am always impressed with the visuals he does for their shows/videos too.

Juniors use P90's or P1000's. I agree with everyone here, they are special, i had two over the years and sold them.

My first guitar was (and indeed still is) a DeArmond M-65. Kind of a Les Paul Junior type affair. For the last two years I've bene meaning to get some GFS pickupps for it, because it is a great player.

Yeah I meant more that before I knew anything about guitars I knew I wanted a junior.
I dunno why I didn't put p-90 though :S.

i've always wanted the next dearmond up, the m-75 with blue finish and the dearmond pickups.

Aye, that was a nice range of guitars. There was the M-65c, too, which I think had a scratchplate and chrome covers.

Didn't notice this thread but for what it's worth, I've played an Edwards Black LP custom and it was nearly as good as a Gibson, noticeably better playability-wise than an epiphone.
