i've got more than enough guitars to be getting on with at the moment or i'd have bought it at that price without a second thought. but for once, i'll give someone else a chance. but the fact that no-one else has bought it yet makes me think that they DON'T DESERVE THAT CHANCE!!markleton wrote:Real mature.
Noone snapped up the red Bronco yet? For shame! If i never needed to get myself a bass this week and a new phone i'd be all over that like a fat kid on cake.

I'm not sure how true that is. Fender have a pretty good history with trem design though, so it's a bit of a null statement.deaner33 wrote:So what's the deal with Bronco trems? Wikipedia indicated that they were the worst trems ever designed by Fender.

Strat
Jag/Jazzmaster
Mustang
Can't really argue with those. I've never played a Bronco but I've heard the trem is pretty good. I don't really see them designing a melon after having a good run before. It's going to be based on the same ideas and if it wasn't not up to scratch they could have just one an existing one that is.
The thing with that is the other three are massively popular. The strat trem is obviously way out in front, but the other two have their fans for sure. Most of the reason it's the least popular is it's also very unavailable. Broncos aren't all over the place and no other guitar uses the trem. A lot have lost trem arms (i dont think theres a direct replacement) or a replaced bridge or whatever. The unique tremolo arm was Leo Fender's fourth and least popular design, and appeared only on the Bronco. It is sometimes unofficially known as the Fender steel vibrato, and colloquially as the Bronco trem. It has its admirers, but only few guitarists, such as Alex Turner of Arctic Monkeys, use it as their main guitar.
Really? Where are you selling it? I am interested!DGNR8 wrote:I am selling mine for even less (in US), but it's not that nice.
