I'm thinking it's a combination of:

and
dawnofzion wrote:it is to prevent the high E string from catching on the edge of the pickups when he strums really hard.
like he has treble sides of the pickups jacked up really high so the string always catches.

Sorry about that. It's been over a month now.

The people at the student loans keep lying to me abotu what form I need.

It's more or less top of mys list of things to do now though. That, and going to class and stuff.

Some skeletons in Gavin's closet, donchaknow...

PS. Way to Blue, the best of, is the best Nick Drake introduction, IMO.

Pffft - have all four albums and Way to Blue - the latter gets the most play.

Why do you hate music so much?

I have all of them too, and I like the best of, but I would always recommend Five Leaves Left, it's a lovely record and I like feeling what I imagine his friends did at the time they first heard his songs.

way to blue is missing like a third of my favourite nick drake songs.

plus like mike said, best ofs are destined to sit in someones cd rack, a cd rack purcahsed with and especailly for that cd in the hope that one day they'll amass a large collection. that day never comes and you end up with a very dusty CD and an extra large toast rack.

well maybe two dusty CDs if they get a NOW album one christmas.
