Alla this time I thought the browns were faded blacks. My white (late 60s) is almost pine colored. Did strats ever use brown?

I've got a '60 Duo inbound that has a horrible multi-colored easter egg finish. Once I can settle down enough to refin it, Shell Pink is HIGH on my list. . .
