1. It doesn't put any pressure on shortscale's bandwidth and as a result have long load up times
2. It automatically resizes large pictures so they won't be like the Esquire thread which doesn't load up
3. You can edit/rotate etc pictures after they're uploaded
photobucket does have some really bitchin tools for hosting and light editing. don't worry about bandwidth effecting this site, though, as the uploader is on another server, on a totally different account of mine that has virtually unlimited bandwidth. if anything, images load up slower because they throttle that site, but whatever. it's free. =]

Nice, is there a background thread to this? It's probably under my nose.

Not really. Frank is a project guitar of mine that I decided to sell when I discovered I don't actually like thin necks. It's a bit infamous because of my outspoken love of green pearl and the rest of mankinds general disdain for it.
Named frankensonic since it's got bits of 4 different guitars in it.
Oh, and that guitar was essentially my intro to the board.

Ahh okay, thanks for the heads up!
<-------- Noob knowledge, see.
Looks like a great job, I don't find the green offensive but I doubt I'd be rocking it

So I put Franky through the paces last night...
Epic man...really fucking Epic. the hot rails blow my balls off for dirty shit, and that SJAG1 isolated and phased is PERFECT for OD guitar...the control plate isn't an issue for me with Frank because i strum him up towards the neck...when i get back from being out of town i'll upload the tracks i used him on...it was GREAT last night...just GREAT.

and jimmy shows his still very n00bish knowledge of guitars. LOL...
the only thing i've noticed that i'm going to need to do is check the soldering on the input jack, it seems like if the instrument cable is turned a certain way it cuts out...but that's something my fumblefucked hands can handle...so i'm pretty much calling Frank like my new favorite balls-to-the wall guitar.

I wouldn't rock the green myself, but it does look cool.
Looks like a good addition to the ranks Jimmy.

Yeah, that could use a resoldering I imagine. This was my FIRST guitar project, so as warned in the classifieds... there's some dodgy soldering in there but it's help up to the abuse so far.

oh i'm stoked as shit on it to be sure! i've never rocked a shortscale so it's definitely a new experience just for that. but don't let ends fool you, dude can put together a real beast of a guitar and the fit and finish is really quite nice on the neck and the body.
don't trip about the input jack my man, all the switches work and do what they're supposed to...i could NEVER do that, i've tried. LOL like i said, i can handle a jack resoldering...and it certainly doesn't feel like a guitar that someone slapped together for the first time, seriously.

I really appreciate the compliments man. I'm suer stoked that you like it so much. That makes the whole project worth it. Hopefully I'll have the same luck with Kali.

hey you know me, i'd be honest about anything i didn't like...and so far it's really been a great addition. it's not something i could rock as my number one i think just because of the scale issue, but who knows? that could change...it's lots of fun to play though so for that i'm super stoked.
