You might want to check out the "Announcements: News and Rules of the Road" section of the forum... ya know, the section at the very top of the index page... right there for every new and existing user to see immediately as they log in. It'll help you understand the difference between a sales pitch and a contribution.

PS - a lot of business is conducted on this forum... but if the user base doesn't get to know you, aside from a sales pitch, you ain't gonna sell shit.

I'm sure everyone would love to hear about this guitar, though. You started a thread about it, you could go into detail about the decisions you've made in designing it and I'm sure you've learned plenty of other things about getting a guitar to market that none of the rest of us know and would be interested to hear. That'd be great.

Why do it

Well the reason I started DGW was This Forum/Namm/Guitar teachers.......I started out taking necks off of shortscale guitars and building my own bodys...I also spend time at the local music store..Then I went to namm....The 1 thing that stood out to me was....There are about a million kids/people out there riding bikes that are to big for them.....What does that mean....Walk into any bike shop and the 2nd thing they will do is find the size bike that fits you.....Walk into any guitar shop and you pretty much just pick out a color...for the most part....Ive been reading this forum for almost 2 years now and 1 thing Im going to address soon is...size.... I view guitar size from scale length..xs-22.2 s-24 med 24 3/4 lg 25.5...I often read this forum and someone is talking about a short scale that is really a medium scale.....I dig this site even if Im the odd man out with all the hi-gain stuff.....I gota go

Picked up a CVC 50s Tele last week. 300$ from GC. It's really nice. I'm surprised they are putting these out at such a low price. It's a sweet feeling and looking guitar and OOTB is setup decent and sounds good. Thanks for the suggestions. a lot of GAS for these and I know why now.

I'll let you know what I do with it. Not sure which route I'm going to go. Probably going to get a setup, new electronics but other than that not sure. Probably pup swap eventually but we'll see.

I'm still loving mine at the moment. Other than a new set of strings its still as was. I think I might also play with the electrics a bit. Put in a 4 way switch and maybe change the pots/caps. The pups are great as is at the moment. For a squire they are amazing. The bar has definitely been raised with these.

Enjoy it very much
