What a deal. Really want one of dem musicmasters
Parts have arrived!! Except for the saddles which arrived this morning on the island, which means I should get them tomorrow morning.
I went ahead and replaced the string trees tonight, since I'm too tired to do anything else. Dropped these in place: http://www.guitarfetish.com/Pair-Nickel ... p_596.html
Tomorrow (or really, some time this week) I'll install the new pickup, a GFS lil' killer, with a push pull 500k knob, and the new saddles. I also have some new knobs on the way.
I'm saving all of the original parts in case I decide to return it to stock to sell it one day.
One problem though... I think I might have to file down the original pickguard, since it looks like the pickup is just a wee bit too big, and I'm really getting impatient waiting for parts to arrive for this guitar, and don't want to wait another week or two while I order a new pickguard and it arrives.
