I paid 150 and I think it was worth it because I've been gasing for a super strat/les paul recently; this is the best of both worlds.
it's a rad looking guitar so no offense, but how is it anything like a super strat?

I just meant in the sense that it's a super fast neck, high output humbuckers, and a general over the top guitar.

it's possible. I can't find any real info on the copies as well. I can't imagine making a copy of a Ravelle would make any money.

Does the headstock look like it might have been refinished? The Fernandez labeled models have matching headstocks. And none come in this color so maybe hte whole guitar was refinished.

that was one of my first inclinations but I don't think the guitar could have been refinished. I seriously can't find a flaw in the finish. There is a chip in the guitar and no sign of refinish. no sign of refinish anywhere.

also, going back through the pictures of the copies, I think the guitar i have looks closer to an actual fernades than the copies.

this could be just me being wishful . . . . but maybe it was a Fernades pre-Ravelle days?

I realize that's highly unlikely but at this point, I think everything is. I'm actually okay not really knowing because I love the mysteriousness of the guitar right now.

on the other end though, why would Fernades put out a guitar without their brand on it? Surely, they'd make more money by putting a brand name on the guitar?

What is weird is everything points to Fernandes guitar, but Ravelle's have a pointy lower horn and yours is rounded. Truss rod cover is wrong too. Maybe it is some sort of demo/prototype.
