I used 500M pots with my SD JB and no tone control, and it sounds perfect. I'm not sure if 1M is going to be ideal for a humbucker, it would probably be farrrrrrr too bright.

So.. update. It's here in PR with me, and I finally played it on my amps, and it is NOT muddy.

In fact, it sounds quite perfect.

Now onto my other project, a non-functioning Squier tele I rescued from the classifieds.
