I'm in the minority here cause I really dig those guitars. Love the looks of the 51 Precision bass. They were priced low back in the day and can still be found reasonably priced on the used market. Great guitars for modding. Have one of the old sunburst finishes. Plan to modify the neck pickup so that it can be raised and lowered and put the strings through the body.

A vastly underated guitar, i know i'm in a minority here but these were great guitars when the came out back in '04-'06. Still are though i have'nt played one of the new versions yet. Does anyone know if the new ones are string through? The only thing i did'nt like about the originals was the bridge but eaily sorted.
The necks were tremendous, i don't know where people get the idea they were thick. Nowhere near the girth of my Cabronita.

I almost bought one of the old ones a few times before my elbow got all fucked. They seem like a good way to get skate punk and country out of the same guitar and I never wanted to follow all of my friends down the Ibanez metal guitar to Gibson SG path that they all took.

I had a blonde model, got it from a Crack Converters purely to flip at a profit but it was nice.
Always think of the Vivian Girls with this guitar, it suits that raw garage sound and looks the part.
