Its actually bargain basement time in the UK if you like Super Strats. Pawn Shops are full of the pointy things, i saw a purple sparkle Yamaha for £59 the other day which is a giveaway considering its quality. Back in the 80's you would have paid £400 for it.

If you are going to sell the Gothic SG, let me know. I love the fucking satiny necks on those things. ALSO: Moon/Star inlay is the shit.

I wanna get something rocking at some point. Possibly with a Rose to get wanky on it. But no pointynes. Something different from what I have. I guess the Omar sig would be kinda like that.
A Gordon Smith Graf Deluxe is meant to have a neck similar to the Ibanez Wizard and I've always fancied that guitar along with a GS1 doublecut.

Actually, I think it might just be possible to play one publicly without irony and not be laughed at.
I think a lot of the early metal bands from the 70s played wood coloured metalz guitars. This one was quite metalz when I acquired it. The previous owner had it routed at the bridge for a Khaler tremolo (yuck!), which I promptly had repaired by a luthier and returned to a fixed bridge. The Dirty Fingers pickups are definitely Metalz pickups: they've got the highest output I have ever seen. They sounded loud and distorted on every amp's clean channel I ever played the guitar through.
