Lol. And i suppose you have to wear a green cardigan and use a Boss DS-1 to play a Fender Jag-Stang as well?
EMG make good pickups, but they are clearly wrong because some Metal players use them.

I've always loved Joey's EMG Jag-Stang since the old days, because it's well executed and looks classy. The sound isn't my bag but it's nicely done.

Back in ye olde days I had no clue about pickups and stuff, I thought Joey's J-S looked cool. Nowadays I think they look a little out of place, but I don't hat it. I've never played a guitar with EMGs so I don't know if I like them or not. I think it's pretty unlikely I will though, 'cause I like weak single coils. I don't really even like P90s anymore.

i think a fiesta red jag-stang w/ the standard pearloid pickguard and WHITE emg's (81 in the bride sa1 [single coil, kids] in the neck) would be FUCK-HOT.

Yeah, we get that you don't like the sound of them and I'd bet that most people on this forum would agree with you, but saying that they are never good for anyone for any use is just stupid. So stop it.

Now, i can understand the dislike of needing a battery compartment, the poor clean sound with some EMG models or even maybe aesthetics/association hang-ups. But... "mosquitos in a tin can"?
So you've tried your pals ESP thats loaded with an active 81 and 85 and did'nt like it? You have dismissed the whole range made by this company based upon this.
Dont worry, a lot of people do this.

Tuning stability and to a lesser extent sustain. I actually really like the Mustang trems but at the time I had two or three Mustangs and I wanted a hardtail shortscale. I like the way that bridge and tailpiece look on the Mustang plate.
Can you provide a few more details on how you did this bridge work? I'm compiling information for a Mustang/Bronco hybrid I want to make eventually, and I had wanted to do a hard tail on it while still retaining the look of the stock Stang bridge. You're looks exactly like what I wanted to do. Do you have a thread already on this?
