I associate the Mustang more with Kurtz to be honest. His name might be on the JS but he never used one (perhaps on an odd occasion) and neither was he happy with it apparently.

jag-stang the original is trash

it´s unifinished project duo the creator killed self.
the sound is Mud , even mud is less mud than jag-stang sound.

At enchanced ones we can fix it using wood give cleaner sound or warm sound , can add curves original make arms hurts when trainning sit , can add stabler bridges coz the mustang one is temperamental. and more.

Fender don´t wanted finish that shat , we do.

i did , mine is 4x times better than original crap one , sounds good , sounds clean and bright , is confortable , and don´t goes out of tune easy.

it's fairly unique in a lot of ways, even if not in all the best ways. i've decided i will pick up another one when i have the means. fiesta red this time, though.

Yeah, i'm with you there. Even though i built one i regret selling the ones i've owned. The JS suits my needs in many ways, perhaps more so than any other Fender.

I'd own another one if I ran across it at the right time and right price.

You are a fool for selling that silver faux JS. I'd have bought it if you had not had issues with my birthplace. YOU.

Ok. I took my Tele copy in to get a new nut and told the dude to set up whatever else he could find. Well I got it back today and the guy has done a proper job on the set up. They seem to have buffed the neck up and everything. £30 including the cost of cutting a new plastic nut. Well, anyway, I think he may have messed with the P90s height or something because it sounds really amazing now. Like when I play open chords there's harmonics all over the pace, it just sounds lovely. Plays pretty nice too now that it's got a proper nut.

I'll just never get used to the shape of those things...just way too fucked for me. I'd play one if I could adjust the curves JUST a smidge.

It's this really, really cheap Tele rip-off I bought a few years back. With a new nut and new pickups it's actually pretty nice. I plan to refinish it white as well, but i gotta see how expensive that's gonna work out. The neck has actually aged into a much nicer light brownish colour since then.

it'll cost you £30 (if you buy that nitro paint and clear from me!) plus a can of nitromors to refinish it. i've got all the other stuff you'll need.

Cool. I'll do it then. Or, more likely, I'll just ask you do do some or all of it for me. I hate sanding and the other stuff I've tried to paint turned out really shit. Although I've never tried to paint a guitar before.

well, i haven't sprayed nitro before so i can use your guitar as practice in case i ruin my duo-sonic.

+1 he may have had the idea and had fender build one but he wasnt happy with it and barely used it himself. the mustang was kurts real signature guitar. japan even made one for him, it has a humbucker in the bridge
