One of these days I'm going to find that in a pawnshop, I know it. I always see Jagmasters but it's the 2nd and 3rd versions.

James wrote:My aim is to have a stock image for each colour (where possible) and then one or two more to show it in a more natural sense. If there's a lot of variation, like with the bowling ball finish I'll have more images to show it.

These images I have a good resolution image for but no stock image

These colours I only have a poor resolution image for

That isn't entirely up to date, I know that since sorting them like that I've found better pictures for Jupiter Blue and Cadmium Orange, but it's mostly there. Hopefully I'll post the website soon and it will be easier to do that sort of thing.
Cool. I will have a bit of a browse for some images.

Nice job with the blue pearl dust, that's a lot better than the ones I already had. The site that came from is a good one for rarer late 80s/early 80s colours. Where did you get the very orange Sunset Orange Transparent P Bass pic from? It looks too orange to me but might be right.

Here are a few things I want to try and find.

Better stock images for -

068 - Gun Metal Blue (think this one might also be a Fender Japan Colour that the HH Jag came in)
080 - Baltic Blue

Here are the ones I currently have.

Any image for '59 - Black Pearl'.

That looks cool. I finally found a good picture of that colour last night. It seems quite like CAR but a little more orange.

The orange came from here: http://www.dolphinmusic.co.uk/product/1 ... maple.html

Its on a few sites too, i think its right. This is a tele in that finish, its barely transparent:

Is Black pearl the same as black pearl burst?

Another one I want is a stock image of 'midnight blue', but the glossy version from before the highway 1 strat. It's close to the jupiter blue colours on the bottom of the previous page.

The midnight blue and wine you just posted are the satin highway 1 style. Here's the glossy midnight wine compared to the highway 1 satin.

I think Black Pearl is a different colour. It has a different number for sure.
