Sounds gewd, however I just won a Marshall MS-2 on ebay new in box for £14.

So I think I'm set. However I have many other options if I'm not happy

I have an MS4 that went faulty when I plugged the wrong power supply as a kid.

If you want I'll ship it over to you as you maybe able to fix it up. Then Keep it.

It's possible but might be a little tricky depending on how tiny it is in there!

Well if you fancy having a go just shout. Doing nothing here, and I wouldn't need it back. Can take some gut shots if you like too...

Actually if you could that would be really useful, would give me an idea whether it's worth the postage money to have a go!

Nah, I looked up pics and it's two or three small pc boards with full size components.

Here's a page with some mods and schematics:
MS-2/MS-4
Probably need to change the diode near the power supply, hopefully nothing else is burned out. I'm thinking the one near the 3K9 resistor, because the other one near the batteries turns off when an adapter is plugged in, I think. That cap could also be fried.
