back when i was a nipper we had an old H&H amp head that had an output for a leslie cab, so you could stick your guitar through it easily. you could pick leslies up for about £50 then too. and all this was just fields, etc.

Yeah I love it. Since getting it, I've pretty much played with it on 99% of the time. It loves the SHO into it to boost and adds a really nice tone to the Crunch box after it. Definitely one of my favourite pedal purchases ever.

Just gave it another go. It could be my memory failing me but it seems worse. Worse or not it's way beyond acceptable levels of background noise. It's a shame because the amp itself sounds very nice and is exactly what I wanted. I'll try a replacement out in the shop before bringing it home, hopefully another one will be fine.

I much prefer the tremolo placement on the original. I don't think it makes as much difference on a jag (although I've never really compared) but looking at those two pictures the original placement just looks more elegant. It could all just be familiarity but the spacing relative to the bridge and the butt of the guitar just flows better.

As far as tremolo placement goes, I don't really use it so it'll probably be unscrewed and left without on a day to day basis.
The '66 reissue also has the 'limited edition' factor, there's only going to be 50 of each colour in Europe so they say.
The black/tort of the CP is cracking though. I'd have this if there were no limits
It's probably going to be down to how the neck 'feels'.

Because I never had a Jaguar before I bought the CP, it has never bothered me at all, plus I'm not really hung up on the aesthetics of guitars and gear, I just want it to work well for me in terms of sound and performance.
