The video on the Amazon page with the bouncy Asian girl is clearly not aimed at young women, but creepy, chops-licking old men.
I totally dug it.

I want one of these for that price. They look pretty cool, plus I like Hannah Montana.

I just bought one of these for my 7 year old - it was $A 29.95 which is about $US 20. I've only fiddled with it for half an hour so far but it looks like it is going to be pretty tough to intonate and set up properly.
However - it has a Tele pickup arrangement and electronics; maple neck with scarf-jointed Gibson style headstock; a thick slab rosewood fingerboard; a truss rod (although I haven't tried adjusting it yet); 4 screw bolt-on neck; MOP single ply pickguard, string through body with cheapo Strat type saddles, which are also height adjustable. Out of the box it wasn't even close to set up, but the materials seem reasonably decent and all the bits are straight and assembled properly.
I will report back if anyone is interested, once I've had a chance to try a setup. I might re-string it, I suspect the factory strings are stretchy and weird.

I might buy one of these to turn it into another telexplorer

Just be aware they are 3/4 scale - although this is shortscale.org! I think the scale length is 23.25 inches based on the nut-to-12th-fret distance.

I really need to see the first telexplorer.
The combination of those two guitars blows my mind.

Shocking post, I photoshopped another guitar idea!
But I think it would look something like this, excuse the rough edges.
Am I on the right track?

Sorry for a 2nd post, but excuse my "crime", I just decided, "Screw it, ends asked, I had an idea, did a terrible photoshop and deed, lock me up and throw away the key!".
Should have put a spoiler tag on it...
