I was searching through Rondo's stuff thinking, "Man, I would really think about trying one of these out if they didn't have that terrible head stock."
Then, I see these:

Not sure if they're just old stock that they are just now advertising but I think that maybe they're finally realizing that they'll sell way better if they don't have a stupid headstock.

I would probably order that tele right now if it had normal inlays. There is ALWAYS one tiny thing that keeps me from ordering their guitars.

Do you guys play a ton of baritone stuff though? I have a baritone and I feel like I barely use it for anything, nice to have though!

I don't have a baritone. I'd like to have one but it's not a burning desire. I just thought that model was interesting.

I'd actually make good use of a proper baritone, though the Jazzmaster strung up heavy suffices along with the Les Paul 7 stringer in the quiver, and I occasionally make use of my friend's Jerry Jones Baritone.
In the pop world, a bari can really make a good "secret sauce" for tunes that need a lower end oomph blast. Double tracking a la
Meesy Boobie Rectum Fire Mesa Boogie Rectifieresque fat distortion and putting it way below the electric guitar principal rhythm lines can do amazing things to a seemingly lifeless mix that otherwise wouldn't suffice with bass distortion, and is something I employ in so many pop tunes I have to arrange over here. That being said, bass distortion (and/or blended clean tones with dist) can be great in pop tunes just the same, such as John Shanks' excellent production in the excusable Hilary & Hailey Duff cover of
Our Lips are Sealed.
To further indict my listening habits and song studies, Hoobastank's
The Reason is one of the worst songs ever written/recorded that makes good use of a rhythmic 7-string guitar exactly as I use a baritone.

They cut through like nobody's business, because no-one in a band occpuies that sonic range: guitars are about the same as a violin, bass the double bass, baritones are like cellos. The improvisation workshop I go too is always plagued by millions of fucking guitarists, so you could never be heard. I took along my baritone and it came through lovely.
I'm about to become baritone-less for the first time in years, and I'll miss it.

I imagine somewhere in the depths of hell Satan has that song on repeat.

I totally agree... Other than those stupid inlays that tele looks awesome!

I love those inlays. I love anything thats not standard dot int the middle.

For most guitars, I like anything that isn't the normal dots but on a tele, it HAS to be normal dots.

Yep, plan is to Reece of this parish; just need to pop the new pickup in. Still floundering from my "I've got an M13! I've got a strat! I've got a tele!"-run of purchases.

I actually do. I'm a huge CURE fan, and have made a point of seeking out interesting music featuring the VI. I have 2 Schecter Hellcat VI's, a Danelectro Loghorn VI, an OLP MM-5 (strung E-E), an Ibanez AX110XL (strung B-B) and am having a replica of a Teisco TB-64 built for me even as we speak.
I LOVE low-strung guitars!
