Real Lake Placid blue from 1963. As it appeared from the Fender factory then an there. no aging. no greening. The reissues can't touch it.

How someone came across such pristine examples of Fender custom colors that old and that minty boggles the mind. look at the Sonic Blue & Sherwood Green ones, hurts so good, want to touch the hiney

Damn, and he's got TWO EACH of the non-custom schemes in immaculate condition too. You generally don't see vintage Jazzmasters this clean, and now we know why: this guy has been stashing all of them.

What's this got to do with women?
Are you suggesting women turn greenish and check as they age?

To me it doesn't look any nicer than an AVRI reissue. It's nice, but the real beauty of a vintage model is in its years of use.

What is the reference to a woman? It makes no sense at all.

Plus most women actually will turn green if you clear-coat them, or at least smack you one.

There is something wrong here. The nitro pickguards should have shrunk at least some, but these are perfect. Something is really, really off here.

I don't trust that thing. It's too pristine. A brand new guitar off the assembly line should like more busted than that thing.

Agreed on the vintage point.

Apparently, i referred to my Jaguar as having the beautiful curves of a woman when i first met my missus, it was never anything to do with the finish though.

That is G-rated compared to the the twi'lek slave outfit from the Jabba scenes of the original trilogy. Lucas even got her back for the special edition to add the extra bewbz he'd always intended to be in ROTJ.

A twi'lek with extra bewbz? Oh my, its like star wars and total recall rolled into one.
