'Desktop' amps

MBM pedals has been relocated under the stairs and my mustang I doesn't fit

I need a small solution for testing boards and pedals

Currently I'm aware of :

Fender Electra
Fender ' 57 twin mini amp
Marshall micro stack
Some kind of headphone amp to put after a Harley Benton American sound and before headphones

Ideally the amp would have a headphone socket but not essential
Something that could take a pedal (duh)

Any experience with the above or other recommendations?

Size is the chief factor here

Pretty tiny, there is a 10 Watt version too.

Though it does not seem to have a headphone out, the Fender Greta might be something worth looking into.

I like the Fender Frontman 25r, Vox Pathfinder 15r, and VHT Special 6. I am going to try out a Fender Champ once it comes in for my desktop amp.

I can't suggest anything helpful. Most pedals sound the same with these little amps, especially if they're awful digital abominations like the Mustang I. If it's just a matter of checking if the thing turns off and on and that the controls do something, then maybe one of those Orange Crush things. Don't you have a vintage Champ? That's a good pedal testing amp. I use my Musicmaster Bass amp for the testing. Turn it on and off a hundred times a day, poor thing.

Best daft little amp I've ever had was the tiny little Orange Crush thing. Was ace.

What about an amp sim & adapter for your iPhone. Didn't you used to have an irig?

This is what I was thinking.

The amp sims on the garageband app are by the far the best of the ios apps I've tried. The fender style amp model is really nice.

Tried

Doesn't take pedals well and is a faff - fine on it's own but crap with pedals
The mustang I takes pedals great with the Harry Benton American sound tech 21 clone in line but without not so much

Just can't fit the amp down under the stairs with my desk and the washing machine, it's just too big

Sold my champ to Chris a while back
So far I'm thinking Greta

Doesn't solve my issue - does not drive headphones

Orange micro crush... Is actually a usable little amp... Has teh rock tonez, I love mine (use an adapter rather than a battery).

Ah - I was on about the Micro Crush, it would appear.

(Mike hates batteries anyway, the fool).

I'll try one out boys thanks

Batteries are death for the planet - anyone can see that

I have a greta and it doesn't react too badly with pedals at all, just breaks up really easily as you can imagine.
